    Issues with Charging

I have read about every thread about charging issues and cant seem to fix mine. i have the t100ta upgraded to windows 10 mine will charge when not in use or off but will not show (ie not charging light windows not recognizing that it is charging). it will not allow me to do any updates to bios due to this or roll back to win 8.1 i did buy the charger that you guys recommend from amazon 3.5amp and that charges it but not while on.

any help would be great? any way to flash bios without ac?

    Welcome

Clearly a Windows issue. Try a reset after a backup.

Well I haven't touched Windows for years - due in part to these sorts of issues - but if it is now so tied down as to not permit a wipe and reinstall from scratch with a fully charged battery then what a load of rubbish that is!

Boot from an external source, wipe it and rebuild it. That can still be done and we have guides here on how to do it. You'll need access to another Windows machine.
