Battery wear??? Wasn't charging then finally did, and now lost mwh

    Hi Everyone
I'm new here, but have read lots of posts(before my account).
I received my t100 (newer model with z3775) in mid-december 2014. I was having charging issues so I downloaded battery bar at the beginning of March. Anyway that problem resolved. Battery bar usually said I had 26,000-28,000mwh of 30,000mwh and no more than 9% wear.
Yesterday though the I was using it all day and put the charger on at around 20% battery. It charged for a bit, but unbeknownst to me it declined from the usual charge rate of 2,200mw(and up) down to 0mw. I ended up draining down to 5%, and then realized that the cord was bad. I got a different cord and charged it up. Now it says my battery wear is 16% and 25,391mwh out of 30,000mwh! How do I fix this?
I bought this for college starting in this summer and I really need the 11 hour battery!
Is there any hope of fixing this?
    Thanks!

I noticed your signature; how do you get your sleep mode not to steal battery

Sleep does steal a bit of battery but it's only 1-2% overnight.

    Welcome to the forum
You don't say if you have ever done a Battery Calibration before so I guess you haven't.
When the battery drained down to 5% then you charged it up (fully charged I guess) then you did a Battery Calibration and now your battery wear level is more accurate.
By the way 16% isn't terrible (mine is 14%) and you should still get 8 >10 hours depending on screen brightness and use.

If you have a hard drive in the keyboard, running software from that or watching videos, listening to music etc that is stored on the hard drive will use a lot of battery.
An example: I watched a video that was stored on my MicroSD card inserted in the tablet and it used about 10% per hour, when I watched a video that was stored on my hard drive it used about 20% per hour.
I suggest you use the hard drive for storage only and copy files to the tablet or a MicroSD card when you need to 'work' with them for long periods.

    Thanks for your help!
I have done the run down to 5-10% before, but i didnt have negative effect. I determined that my asus 2a charge block or samsung cord were having issues. Now a different cord and 800ma samsung block are working great just a longer charge time(sadly)! But my battery wear is getting better currently 13.5%. I did 2 drains this week down to 5%( one accidental due to my charger not working right).

I dont have the harddrive model, since I'm an avid photographer my files are over 250g and i didnt want the extra battery drain or worry about a HD. I just keep a 64g microsd in my asus which is the 64g model and store my photos on 2 toshiba 1tb drives.
