T100TA New User With Weird Low Battery Sudden Off Problem
Hello Transformers
Really Need Your Feedback and Help
I'm a new user of T100-TAS Z3775 32gb (almost 2 weeks)
This is my System Information
Spec.png
The problem is whenever the battery is below 50% or 30% , T100 will off suddenly like a drained battery
And when i boot it again , the system will stay on for awhile and then off again after showing windows splash screen
The problem is always solved if i plug the charger in , The suspected culprit is this service i found from the event viewer

Does anybody suffer the same issue like mine?
Is this a hardware or a software issue?
Really need your help guys , thanks a lot !

I experience this sometimes 64gb z3775 500gb. And a lot if a usb device is plugged in, adapter unplugged and batt is 70%-50% or lower.

I used to have the same problem, the battery is probably not calibrated. Did you charge it 8+ hours as per the manual? It seems like a little thing but it's important.
Drain you battery completely, immediately after it shuts down, plug it in (don't turn it on) and leave it for 10 or so hours. Then repeat the process just to make sure the battery is going down to zero.
Another tip: I don't use the device while charging. It heats up the battery and in my case that can make it go wonky again. At least I suspect so.

Welcome to the forum
Please try to post in the correct section - moved to T100 Battery/Charging section.
Where, incidentally, you will find a lot of information related to the care of your battery. You will also find a good overview in the T100 FAQS section, linked from my signature below.
skweaky has the reason & solution for you, the solution is also in the T100 setup/charging FAQ as already mentioned.
Welcome to skweaky, as well.

Hello janner thanks for correcting my thread into a better place
@ Walang Alam , i only used a wireless Targus Mouse reciever plugged in my USB , and the dock is always attached on
@ Skweaky , sure i'll try your solve , but it could be tricky as the device will shut itself when the battery is around 50% , do you have an idea to drain the battery outside the OS , something like draining battery on BIOS Page etc , Now im typing this on 70% with the dock attached and charger unplugged , wish me luck !

You can change the battery settings by searching 'power options' -> change plan settings -> advanced settings. This allows you to set when the computer shuts itself off, uses reserve battery power, etc. Hope it helps!

hey walangalam. seems like the dock is the culprit. i removed the tab from the dock below 30% after shutting suddenly once
now mine is 13% without any problem and im going to make it completely drained as skweaky instructed
update : 10% - the tablet is off while im testing to put it on the dock again
the main culprit is that dock

By draining it completely I just meant using it until it powers off. If the battery's not calibrated the battery level is incorrect (that 50% is actually 0%), and charging it for more than 8 hours even after the light's turned white should calibrate it.
Don't drain the battery too often though, it stresses it. I only needed to fix mine months ago and now I don't let it drop below 25%.
