Seems like a good deal. They offer an 18 month warranty and cover shipping fees. I'm just wondering if the T100 battery circuitry is made to accept "rapid" charging and if it will show any degradation of battery life over time if we use one of these. Post back and let us know how it works for ya.

The USB (Universal Serial Bus) charging standard is 5v/500ma (or 5v/100ma for low power).
Then you have various OEMs creating different charging voltages / amperages and/or data pin combinations. So it is not only the charger that can be an issue, but also the cable as well. A cable needs to be wired to the correct pin outs for both charging & data if it is to be a full replacement.
Additionally, USB 3 sockets, for example, have more pins - backwards compatibility between USB 2 & USB 3 meant that USB 2 could be connected to a USB 3 socket - but there would only be limited functionality.
So, yes, it really is confusing & complicated & a bit of a lottery...

The charger and cable I purchased (seen on page 1 of this thread) are still working great! I obviously can't predict long-term effects on the battery, but it seems exactly the same as the stock charger. Do you guys really think that battery degradation is a possibility? The specs from the charger I bought seem to be the same as the stock charger...

So long as it is the correct voltage you really can't go wrong. Think of it like this - batteries "pull" power from chargers, not chargers "pushing" power into the battery. The battery won't "pull" more power than it can handle. That said, the battery can only "pull" what the charger is able to supply so if your charger can't source as much into the battery as the device is pulling from the battery the result will be a net negative.
If the charger voltage is too high (ie. a 12 volt charger and a 5 volt battery) then you will most definitely overcharge the battery and damage it at best or light it on fire at worst.
One other thing to keep in mind is that say you are charging a 5 volt battery with a max charging current of 2 amps using a 5 volt charger with a max charging output of 1 amp the charger will gladly charge the battery as 1 amp which is it's max output. In other words - the charger will be maxed out almost the entire time it is charging which could shorten it's life if it isn't made of quality components (which many aren't)

Do you know if this cable will work with the stock charger? I see no need to replace the charger if the cable will do the job with the OEM charger...

It works well with both from what I've seen.
