Unhappy The battery percentage doesn't increase while using it..

does anyone has the same problem?
I find that if I have my screen on and plugged in, the percentage will stay the same.
The percentage only increase when I shut it down or put it to sleep..

Is there any other rapid charger that charge faster aftermarket..?
it will be really inconvenience if it doesn't increase the % when I am using it..

Same problem here. In fact mine will actually charge down with the charger plugged in if I am using it.

This is a deal breaker for me and I'll have to get rid of it unless there is a different charger I can use.

mine is slow to charge to a degree when in use but it charges just fine when using it. Not to mention its gets insane battery life so its not really an issue for me.

I don't think it has anything to do with the charger. It's most likely a software issue.

Rebooted mine and while only web browsing with wifi, battery % is still slowly decreasing even though it is plugged in. This is really poor. My old Android 10.1 tablet would charge no problem even while streaming video over wifi which is far more battery intensive.

It is only a slow decrease but even so my old Android would charge up quite quickly regardless of what you were doing on it. This doesn't look like the device for me unfortunately as just like my Android one, I tend to use it quite a bit like this. There is always those times when I run out of battery and want to use it on mains and I won't be able to with this device.

As posted in another thread, the net negative charge while using perhaps needs to be placed in perspective:

Without power the device lasts about ten hours with straight mixed use.

When charging while using, the device is still charging, so the battery is running down at a lower rate. If ten hours without charging, that should extrapolate to about seventeen hours while charging.

Considering most people do not use a device non stop, the charging should catch up (on average) or at least not run out.

That all said, Asus should have offered a faster charger.

I wonder if it has a set amount of juice it pulls out, or if it can have a higher dose from a stronger charger...

    Hi all

I'm just awaiting my T100 here in the UK after selling my Dell Latitude 10 ST2 tablet to get one but am wanting to use it as a daily desktop replacement and am worried that even when charged in, connected to external bits like full HD HDMI monitor, USB keyboard & mouse the T100 will lose power. Has anyone been able to keep their T100 at 100% using the supplied charger?

    Andy

No. You are definitely going to get a net negative using it like that. I'm going to try some different chargers/usb cables or return mine.
