Default browser app blocks most of the web-pages.

hello, could you help me, please.
I have an ASUS T100 32 GB/ 500GB HDD model with windows 8.1 bought a while ago. For the last couple of weeks I've noticed a nasty problem - metro browser does not open half of the required interned pages for me. What could be wrong with it? I've tried to update it, the problem still persists. Maybe I should switch to a different browser? Anything else? Thank you for your help.

First thing I would try is clearing the cache and data. If that doesn't help, I like your suggestion of trying another browser.
