Asus T100HA Displays Sideways In Alternate Boot Mode
Asus T100HA--Whenever I do an alternate boot from an external device (USB, Micro SD, DVD), the screen is displayed sideways (Portrait instead of Landscape). This makes it impossible to use the mouse, because now up/down is right/left. Have tried everything and ASUS tech support has been absolutely no help. They keep suggesting that I try Windows based functions even though I have explained that the PC is not in Windows mode (Ctl/Alt/Arrow keys), I am in an alternate boot mode, trying to boot a diagnostic, recovery, or other bootable App. They immediately blame the app allthough It is happenening on multiple different apps, on multiple different kinds of storage devices. They don't seem to digest the logics/sequence of the problem. I believe the problem is with the BIOS microcode. Has anyone else experienced this problem, thought I would check before I contact the seller to try to get a refund.
(Note: the Bios is configured with Secure Boot disabled. Have upgraded the Bios)

Well I'm wondering if you really know what you are doing...?
1) Your profile lists an Android tf101 - yet you say you have a t100ha
2) You are posting about a Windows device but you have posted the thread in Android General Discussion
Indeed you might - but that doesn't explain why you haven't amended your profile, nor why you posted this thread in the wrong section.
Neither does it explain why you cross posted this thread elsewhere, getting it closed and warned by our other resident Administrator.
I recommend you review our forum rules before you post further, together with a review of other threads that cover booting from an external drive on the T100 as it is not easy to do and appears to be a little hit and miss.
Same problem with my Asus T100HA when I try to make an image of with Acronis TrueImage bootable USB!
It hapens also bij other bootable usbs such as Windows 10 install usb.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance
It's a tablet screen that is in portrait mode by default. It must be rotated to the left for landscape mode. ASUS install rotated it by accelerometer in tablet mode and rotate left in laptop mode.
