    Unable to boot from usb

    Hi
I am trying to boot/install android on to a usb through my t100.
I have disable device encryption and secure boot. When I select to boot from the usb I have plugged in, the screen goes off, and then comes back on with the asus screen and then proceeds to boot windows! I have been able to run the same android file in virtual box and vmware(on another laptop), and boot on a older lenovo netbook.
It doesn't matter if I select the usb in the bios or the advanced startup.
    How do I fix this?

Have you tried powering off, plug in USB drive, then holding volume down and pressing power. You should see a boot from device option. Use tab to toggle choices, spacebar to select.

Using the volume down and power button did bring up boot options (I didn't have any issues bringing up boot options-volume and power key did make it much easier ! ). But after selecting the the flash drive, I received the same results. Screen goes blank for about a second and then proceeds with normal booting (asus screen and then win 8.1).
I did verify that secure boot was still off, and device encryption is now missing from my settings.

With Secure boot disabled, did you also ensure that "Launch CSM" from the "General" tab was enabled

Sorry for my late reply (college )
I looked for launch csm in all tabs of bios/ueif but its not there at all. After doing some searching I found out that sometimes the 'launch csm' is missing. My computer information lists this for bios: BIOS Version:American Megatrends Inc. T100TA.307, 5/9/2014.
So do I need to update my bios then or not? If so how would one go about updating it?
    Thanks!

make sure the USB is UEFI bootable.

Did you use Rufus tool to create the USB?

LiLiusbstick is for PC with Legacy Bios.

Will not work on UEFI based devices, at least for now.
