    Did you buy the wrong device? For the price of the T100, you could've bought any one, two, three of a number of Android tablets.

    You should have bought a TF103C instead, same design, cheaper and native Android.

    Is it necessary build the bootia32.efi with unbutu ? like that : Ubuntu (or other Linux) on the Asus Transformer Book T100 | John Wells
    the problem is that grub don't boot I have : \grub2\winloader\grub2.boot Error code : 0xc000007b and I don't want do a liveCD unbutu
    I point the good rep on grub.cfg :
    menuentry "android-4.4-r2" {
    set root='(hd1,gpt5)'
    linux /android-4.4-r2/kernel androidboot.hardware=android_x86 quiet root=dev/ram0 video=-16 SRC=/android-4.4-r2
    intrd /android-4.4-r2/initrd.img
    }
    I need grub for windows with efi included, can you send me yours ?

    For anybody that has installed this directly to their hard drive:

    How is the android experience without the buttons working? Does the tablet never go to sleep? If it does, how do you wake it up? How is the battery life? I've installed the T100 image from android-x86.org on a live usb and fiddled with it for only a few minutes. Since I am really only interested in using Android in tablet mode without a keyboard I didn't really get into using it. It just seems to me I can live with all of the current downsides except for the buttons not working.

    is anyone succed installing android on part of the 32go (not in the DD500go) and boot on it with grub2 for windows?
    I tried but the grub make an error because this 32go is securised.
    So maybe with BCDedit or recompiling grub with wifi with live cd ubuntu?

    I hope people will still respond to this thread..

    I've recently bought this tablet and it's awesome, but it would be nice to run Android next to Windows 8.1 for certain games.
    Using Rufus I succesfully made a bootable USB from the image, and on the usb I created a second partition. When I boot from the USB, it detects the second partition as SD-Card just fine, now is my question, how can I prevent losing my data every reboot? The stuff that is on the second partition will stay there, but every reboot I need to set up my tablet again.
