    Question Running Lubuntu through VirtualBox

    Hi,
can't find the answer anywhere. Can you run lubuntu trough virtualbox on asus transformer book t100? If yes (i hope so), how smoothly it runs?

I'm not a Unix... Linux... Ubuntu... Lubuntu... blah, blah, blah user but I would suggest you read through the sticky threads just above and others below your thread.

I get 8-12 hrs use per charge using SLEEP mode. Warning, NEVER calibrate the touchscreen.

Great advice, but I already read the threads and there isn't much info regarding my problem.
From what i understand people successfully installed ubuntu on their T100. I dont want to replace windows with ubuntu but run it on virtualbox and wonder if it runs smoothly or at all. I have also done some reading on virtualbox and as much as i understand it should work on any windows (7 or 8) device but i just want to be sure.
    Any thoughts anyone?

    edit--
Can anyone check if it's possible to enable vt-x (virtualization)?

Hi - Here - quick forum search turned up this thread:

    T100 VT-x support?

Could you add your device to your profile?

Thank You, so i guess that's a no for virtualization.
My current tablet is as it says: none . Got to figure out which would best suit my currents needs.

I'd err on the side of caution - or to put it another way, I think the T100 is too new & with too "entry level" a spec for this to work successfully. But that is just a wild gues...
