VGA adapter isn't recognized

Hello!
I a new user here and I have Asus Transformer Book 100TA and with a fresh Windows 10 installation. And I need to connect my tablet to screen with VGA. So I have bought this adapter: Adaptador Micro HDMI A VGA Con Audio Adaptador and It doesn't work. the adapter Works because I have tried it with other tablet (Acer Iconia W3) and it works. I think that it is some problem with drivers, bios,... software because it doesn't do any sound of a new connected device. And at first time, Iconia didn't recognize it and then Windows Update installed new GPU driver and then worked. But on asus, I do a fresh installation but it isn't recognize. ¿could you help me? And Sorry by my english.

have you tried a proper HDMI-micro HDMI (or mini, w/e it is) cable to see if the port works itself?

Thank janner43 in order to move the correct forum. I thought this idea but the hdmi-micro to hdmi cable won't be used and it is as same expensive than the adapter, so I would prefer first to know what version of drivers, bios, etc. that you used on it before I have to buy other cable. Where I need to connect my tablet is on the classroom (university) and there aren't hdmi ports, only vga and RGB. And in my house I have hdmi ports, but I only connect my tablet with dlna and very rarely with miracast...

The adapter linked I the OP appears to be passive/unpowered. Without special provisions in the T100, I don't see how this could possibly work, since HDMI includes no analog video signals for output to a VGA display.

Reviewers state that this adapter works with the T100. Note that it does have a separate USB power adapter cable to power the adapter.

Thank for yours answers. This is very curious, because with iconia works without problems, and the T100 needs extra power to do work it. Thanks for the adapter. Then, I will try to verify if the port Works with a hdmi cable and if it Works, I will buy it. Other question, do you know if this shop send it to Spain? This is the first adapter that I have seen that it has a separate usb power. There aren't on the shops that I know from here.
And I have read more posts of here about other subjects and I want to give the thanks, There are very useful advice. You do a magnific work!
