[SOLVED] Bluetooth connection issues with keyboard or mouse

I am using a Microsoft Designer Bluetooth mouse together with my Chi T300 and I am having some problems.

If I leave the computer for a few minutes the Chi keyboard and the mouse will disconnect (from connected to paired). If I press a button on the keyboard it will connect again after 2-3 seconds. But the mouse wont wake up if I move it or press the mouse buttons.

Only by turning off the bluetooth (in setttings) and turning it on again both devices work correctly.

Update on this. I found that after I updated the bluetooth/wireless drivers via intel, I have yet to lose connection. There was one time that the connection didn't resume after waking up from sleep. I had to restart my computer to get the connection back again.

I used this ultility from intel: Intel® Driver Update Utility

It actually updated my wireless driver which in turn updates the bluetooth drivers.

This fixed my issues with my MX Master mouse losing connection with my T300 Chi. Thank you!

I too was having a nightmarish time with the "Docking" keyboard not pairing .... ran the utility which updated wireless and Bluetooth drivers (Win10) and problems solved.
    Thanks a million Sofreshizzy....

This thread was a lifesaver. Bought a T300 Chi last August and have been unable to get the keyboard working ever since upgrading to Win 10 three months ago. I knew it was a driver problem but couldn't find an answer. The Intel update utility fixed the problem and now it works. Much thanks to the OP for his post.

I ran the Intel update utility:-

Intel PROSet/Wireless Software for Bluetooth technology for Windows 10 - Installed Version 18.32.0.5 Latest Version 18.16.1

Does that mean the installed version is ahead of what Intel say is their latest version ?
