    Ssd

    Hey guys,

looking at possibly purchasing an SSD for this thing. It's a P1801. Every parts catalog online I have looked at don't even list one available. (Crucial, and Asus Parts).

Trying to get an idea how much I should be looking to spend.

    Any info helps.

    Welcome to the forum

A new SSD is what would be considered as after market. My suggestion, based on balance of price/performance and included utilities would be a Samsung EVO drive. It has great performance for the money and comes with a great migration utility and optimization program. If you want better performance at a steeper cost go with the Samsung Pro 840 series. EVO has a 3 year warranty, Pro a 5 year.
