    Padfone Plug-in Auto Mount?

Hello all. I'm new here and very interested in the Padfone2 if it comes to the U.S. or even if it doesn't, but will function properly on the U.S. 4G LTE networks of T-Mobile and/or AT&T. Fingers crossed for an announcement October 16th to that effect...

I've searched the net for an automotive plug-in mount for the current Padfone1 with no luck. Does Asus or any after market company produce one that includes the plug-ins that the Padfone Tablet dock contains?

IMHO the idea of this product is great. I like the fact that the current Padfone1 has the plug-ins on its' side, allowing easy snap-in to a landscape auto dock. Hoping to mount one of these just above the tach on a 2012 Mini Cooper in landscape right in front of me for easy viewing. Like BMW, Mini is designed for Apple products, but I'm not a fan and they don't have a like product. hard to believe Apple didn't come up with this concept first...

In addition, I have an older 4x4 adventure rig that I may try mounting the entire Padfone Tablet with its' built-in phone dock in the center of the dash with the phone camera pointing out the windshield for recording video. That would be easy, because the tablet already has a built-in phone dock. ;-)

So an Asus produced quality landscape Padfone2 mounting dock is what I'm hoping will be out there soon and would like to know if one exist for the Padfone1 in the markets in which they have been released.

I guess Asus hasn't thought that far ahead yet. I just ordered a Mountek MT5000-D car cell phone mount that slides into your CD player slot. It's a universal mount that will work with my current phone and the Padfone 2 if we get them in the USA at some point. I don't have any affiliation with the company, just thought I'd post my solution for now. Great reviews by users!
