    Thanks Jeanner43
By the way, the battery drain seemed solved (except if a battery duration of 5h30mn in web surfing is not normal for the ME301T ).

But to be exhaustive, the factory reset didn't solve the "Battery usage data not available". Do ME301T owners got this message in the battery info or am I the only one ?

Perhaps the firmware upgrade to 4.2 could solve this problem but I prefer to stay with 4.1.1 as I'm scared of the different upgrade problems I've read (bluetooth, battery drain, ...). Did you all upgrade to 4.2 flawlessly and without noticing side effects afterwards ?

The time you list for constant usage is pretty standard, considering that the memo has a smaller capacity battery than the tf300 and the same hardware I get about 7h of continuous use 5 hours over a two day period.. I would upgrade to 4.2. If you are not rooted you can load the 4.1 firmware on a micro SD and downgrade anytime you like from the notification panel
I apologize for any spelng mistakes made as a result of the keybord- I frequently answer questions on my phone. The content is (usually) good, the grammar may not be.

I didn't think it would be so easy to downgrade from 4.2 to 4.1.1. I was afraid that 4.2 would bring problems to my tablet without being able to reverse the firmware, as described in this thread :
Upgrading to 4.2 has destroyed my plans for this tablet...

I'll check this week end. Thanks !

I will find the link for you, I did it myself, before unlocking and installing a tweaked versioning of the Asus ROM that receives weekly updates

Something to links, is that you will lose all of you files and cannot restore apps backed up in 4.2 in 4.1, that said, you can use the download links from the play store if you don't care about having to replay all those amgry birds levels.
Successful downgrade to 4.1.1 HDMI back

Personally, I think you are safe to stay on 4.1 because your not missing anything amazing feature wise, but nothing is going bad for me
