Factory Reset - Asus FHD 10 tablet.

Good Afternoon. My son recently purchased ans setup this tablet. He was very sick with liver disease. He passed away on the 27th of March. Is there a way of resetting the tablet back to before he set it up or is that not advised. will it mess with the tablets apps and so on?

    John

If you have access to the tablet you can go to settings - backup and reset. A factory reset will put it back to new (with all current Android updates). That would wipe all the data and settings and leave you with the stock apps. If you use the same account to set it up again all those apps will still be available again from the Play Store. Not sure that answered your question..

It depends on your definition of "mess things up"

New to tablets. Old timer 67 years old. I have a asus 10 inch as well. I guess it's the fear of the unknown.
