Im going to try to freeze the apps with Titanium backup to see if I get the same results. I think with the lack of development with this tablet everyone is a little afraid to remove apps
I've been rooting android for 3 years, and consoles for much longer, so I know what I'm doing. There's is a lack of development right now, especially without a custom recovery. Right now the only "roms" we have are the official asus images, which are proving to be difficult for some. Add that to the lack of backup of the bootloader. The fact that you posted a screenshot instead of a list of what can be "debloated" doesn't give me much faith.
Don't get me wrong, after I do my tests with freezing the apps you mentioned, i'll debloat by uninstalling (after making backups) but right now you're the only one who is claiming double battery life, so we have to take it with a grain of salt, especially since there are more people with issues
So a picture of the list of apps removed won't work but if I typed them out individually it's somehow better? LMFAO!
3 years experience, Yet you're sweatin restoring a couple of system bloat apps and unroot? Hmmmm...
I shared my experience on debloating the STOCK ROM & how it effected battery life, I didn't say or ask about development status, custom recovery, custom ROMs or any of that. That was all irrelevant. You don't need a custom recovery to restore the sytem bloat I removed.
I'm the only one who can claim that because the rest of you are too scared to try it. LOL!!
Don't get so offended dude, relax.
Calling the rest of the boards "too scared" is not going to win you any fans.
If you read my post, I AM going to try it too, but in a different way. And if you are right i will GLADLY support your claim.
Just because I don't take ONE strangers advice on a message board with only 12 comments doesn't mean I'm "sweating". It means I've learned from experience.
I was just trying to let you know why some people have doubts.
No need for insults "LMFAO" "LOL"
Isn't Google maps the biggest battery draining app? At least it seemed to be on my galaxy s3.
