    Thumbs up screen not working

Help, my son's memopad 7 is not working. my 3 year old threw it at my head! cracking the screen, so I ordered a new screen and fitted it, but the screen doesn't respond, neither do the volume buttons. I swip the screen and it gives a rain drop effect to the screen. Am I thinking that maybe the shot to my head has done more damage than just the cracked screen?

Check if all the FFC's are attached (cables, Flat Flex Cables) to the motherboard and the other boards - the button board, a.s.o. Check the cables and connectors for the screen itself. Maybe something is loose or not connected properly. A full photo of the tablet with the back cover removed will help.
