    OK: try to fit the 2 cables so the white line is barely visible. Lift up the white part of the 2 connectors, insert the 2 cables all the way in and close the connectors. And see what happens with the touchscreen. If all is ok, try to fix the cables with some thin duct tape over the cables and connectors to secure them in position.

    I came across this thread looking for a solution. Since it still needs a solution I am posting a link how I fixed it. Basically it is loose connectors.

    Asus Pad Hd7 touch screen not working.

    Hi guys. I bought the hd 7 pad three months ago and now the screen 1408566040738.jpgi completely unresponsive
    Firstly only a few keys from the keyboard didnt work but today i couldnt even unlock the screen.
    I dont know what to do. Here is a pic of the mainboard
    Hopefully someone csn give me an answer.

    As I said there, you need to reconnect those 2 cables. Instructions are in that thread. And please, please, disconnect first the battery, then reconnect the cables!

    thanks a lot
    i perform this action for first time and no problem, just some of the touch screen isn't work
    i opened the behind door of tablet and lift up those two cables again
    now my tablet don't have any display
    what can i do?
    please help me
