    Charging the device

How do I know that the device is fully charge? Is there any indication? In my other Samsung tablet, when it is fully charged it says 100% and there is a vibrating sound.

I haven't noticed any automatic notifications like a beep. I sort of know when it should be charged, I turn the Memo Pad on and check settings / battery.

There probably isn't a charging LED on your MeMo. But in any case, your device is intelligent in that it will charge until the battery is at 100% & then stop. To read the battery level, either look in the notification area, or get one of the gazillion widgets there are available in the Play Store.

For general advice & information about charging, battery care etc, take a look at our "definitive guide on battery related matters" guide thread, linked from the Master Help Guide. (See the link in my signature).

The thing is that I want to be able to see if the tablet is fully charged when it is turned off, just as I can do with my other Samsung smartphone and tablet. In already have the ability see how much is the battery charged. With an Asus feature which is already installed in the device, but again, I have to turn it on...Anyway, I have asked Asus support and promise to post their reply.

There's one method that actually works particularly well for Asus tablets.. use your hand to check the temperature of the charger. The Asus chargers get quite hot when charging. When it stops it cools off gradually. So you won't be able to deduce that it stopped charging just a minute ago, but if it stopped ten minutes ago it may still be a little bit warm but nowhere as hot as when it's been fully charging for a while.

Led for tf series. What tor said might work, but since batteries charge slower when almost full, it might be warm but not 100%.
Why not charging it powered on or turn it on when you want to remove it from the charger?
    Sleeping is battery friendly.

    christoi,
Try checking the heat of the charger.. it's hot all the way up to when it finishes charging. Then it slowly cools off.

Just download and app or a widget to monitor the charge if you want to know when it's full. If you're concerned about over charging it, don't worry; the tablet knows when its full and will stop charging for you. For me, I just take a look in the notifications area.
