[SOLVED] Set up for Microsoft Outlook 2007

I've been trying to set up my Comcast e-mail account on my new Asus MeMOPad HD 7 and once I get past the "Incoming Server Setting" have not been able to get beyond the "Outgoing server settings". I keep getting the message "Couldn't open connection to the server". I'm using the identical settings that are used on my Samsung tablet and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Is there anybody out there who may know what I could be doing wrong?

I've been using Comcast for and Microsoft Outlook 2007 several years now and don't wanna go through the hassle of changing my e-mail address.

    Welcome to the forum!

I would check the Android settings for Comcast email. Many times they use different settings for mobile devices vs. computers.

Frederuco, I thank you, Sir. Comcast certainly does now have a different way for setting up Android email, they call it Xfinity Connect. Open the program, type in your email address and password and son of a gun mission accomplished and now Iím a happy camper.
