OS Upgrade to KitKat or Lollipop

Does any know "If" or "When" Asus plans on pushing KitKat or Lollipop? Or are we stuck on Jellybean forever?

Asus are producing a huge numberof budget priced MeMo 7" tablets.

I doubt you will get any further updates - I can almost guarantee no KitKat & IMO there is zero chance of Lollipop. Sorry, but I think that's the bottom line...

I still have hope that there will be a 4.4.2 KitKat release for the HD7. I have a MeMO PAD 7 Model: ME170CX which Asus released with KitKat. So that's why I think there may be some hope that there will be an update. It seems kind of silly to have multiple models of the MeMO PAD and the more expensive HD 7 version would have the older Android OS.

The specs are very similar between the ME170CX and the HD 7, however the ME170CX does have an Intel processor, so maybe that could be a factor as to why they wouldn't release a KitKat update for the HD 7 and like janner43 indicates since these are budget devices, expectations should be low on expecting updates.
