    It isn't weird at all In all likelihood you have a loose ribbon cable inside your device that sometimes fails to make all the required connections.

    If it IS just a loose cable - yes. You would need to find somebody who can open it up, check the ribbon cable connections and put it back together. Tell them to check ifixit.com and YouTube for instructions
