    ^ Yeah I already had that link and just finished flashing, I was only wondering why the ASUS rep gave me the JP version...

    I did the firmware flash two days ago and it looks optimistic, the tablet now lasts 24h with a battery loss of about 10%, I think this could be improved with some smaller tweaks...

    Hello all. I just got a Memo Pad 8 this Monday and I'm having the same problem as the original post. I charged the full 8 hours before first use. I'm now running the tablet down to try another cycle of 8 hour charging, but I'm not very hopeful.
    I am running on the latest firmware, WW-3.1.23.189. Would flashing it back to the firmware posted here before help? Does this affect warranty?
    If anyone could help I would be incredibly grateful since I would like to see this solved before my 15 day period for returning the item. Thanks you so much in advance!

    Hello MiniKuroneko, my tablet's problem seems to have solved itself, I thought maybe it was fixed in a firmware update but that doesn't seem the case if you say you're having it, I don't know what exactly solved it for me but I did flash and re-flash my tablet about a 100 times trying to root it and even ended up bricking it and deleting the bootloader once, but now I'm running the latest build and it's all ok...

    For you if you can still use your warranty then I say use it, this will at least get more attention from the people at asus and hopefully have them look deeper into this problem.
