    cannot see screen in daylight

    Hello all.

Need help. I am attempting to take pictures in National Parks, but when I am outside in daylight, the screen (even in shade) is not bright enough to see contents and take pictures. Am using a tf300. What, if anything, can I do about this?

    Appreciate any help.

You should be able to turn on auto brightness son that it will dynamically change based on the lighting in the room. That way it will dim when you are in a dark space and not be harsh on the eyes.

Someone should invent some sort of shade so we can use the immense viewfinders out-and-about. Like those old fashioned cameras...

I had an inexpensive attachment on one of my cameras, that unfolded out to provide shade in sunlight. Probably could be done, but you'd need different sizes for different screens...like screen protectors.

Sadly this is an issue with any device that has a backlit screen - it's one of the reasons why folks buy a Kindle device if they want to read e-books outside in the sunshine.

All you can do is turn the brightness up full, shield the screen as best you can and hope you can see enough to take a well composed shot.

    Enjoy your trip

I can't see anything on the screen when outdoor. The screen, even on brightest level, simply is not visible enough.
That's a pity, since this little device is great for usage outside.
