SL101 tablet won't go past main logo (constant reboot)

I have a ASUS SL101 tablet and recently it has been in this state of constant reboot. I tried everything from rebooting the tablet to just turning it off then back on again and nothing worked. If anyone has the same problem or fixed this problem please reply. oh and sorry if i'm on the wrong thread. I'm new to this site.

    Welcome!

Have you done a cold boot/hard reset?

    "Cold Boot (aka Hard Reset)
Unplug the power cord and shut the unit off. Press and hold the VOL DOWN and then POWER button at the same time for at least 10-12 seconds until after the start-up screen appears and is joined by some small print at the top of the screen then let them both go. If the TF booted the way it always does, you have not accomplished the task, try again until you have seen the 2 icons in the screen.

After a few seconds you should see a couple of shapes in the middle of the screen called "Wipe Data" and "Android". The right "Android" will have a green highlight fading in and out. Wait a few more seconds until the term "Cold Booting Linux" appears in the list near the top of the screens and let it reboot. If you own a keyboard dock be sure you do this with the dock connected."

Did you recently update to ICS? If so, maybe you're dealing with some of the stuff the Transformer owners went through when they got it. Check the ICS forum, and/or the Transformer forum for guidance on what to try to fix it.

I'm not stupid when it comes to my Android tablet, I'm just ignorant. Luckily, ignorance is fixable.

When the device starts to boot up, press the volume up button. Kinda like when you cold boot, except this time press the volume button up. It will take you to a black screen. Count to 5. Press and hold power button to turn off and reboot. You should now be out of the boot loop.

Um, guys, try to get my attention through pm or something next time.

Mine was doing this and I found that the power button was sticking in. If I flicked it with my fingernail it would open. I found if I didn't push the power button quite so hard it wouldn't stick. Now it has quit doing that...maybe just a bit tight new?
