If anyone comes across a case (I see it's an issue, but hopefully they'll come out with some soon), please update and provide a link & a review if you have time. Thanks!

    Edited to add:
I'm curious if anyone has tried using this for the Slider:

I know it's not perfect, but it's about the closest thing to what I'm looking for that I've seen. I am wondering if the Slider is too thick to fit ... ?

    Sorry guys! I bailed.

I used the extended return period that you get for holiday purchases to exchange my slider for the transformer prime. I really liked the slider and it was an eye catcher, however, I was swayed by the reviews that the transformer prime was receiving. How could I ignore a statement like ‘the best android tablet ever’ from cnet, no less? I know it’s always going to be one better, but hopefully by then I would have exceeded my return date and will just have to settle on what I purchased.

Besides, I don’t think that the slider got enough support from Asus. How could they put out a great unique tablet and not support it? I am not interested in the iPad, but oh how I wish I could get the kind and variety of accessories that iPad offers. Notwithstanding, I’m extremely pleased with my transformer prime.

Btw, I brought the docking station as well, so all in all I paid an additional $130 for the two pieces versus the all-in-one device. Just food for thought!

Just love the slideout keyboard. My slider has replaced all my laptops.
These are worth the half pound or so in extra weight.
I find the battery life accecptable, as good as most laptops.
    Love my sl101

I found a nice case on Amazon, I think it was labeled Moko, it's PU Leather but what the heck, it works. It was 20 bucks +/- but it functions. I wrote a review on Amazon if they still have it, haven't looked recently.

I just checked Amazon and didn't see the case that I bought, maybe the Slider is't taking off like they hoped it would. I love mine, hope the Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade comes soon since the Transformer got it this weekend.

MOKO, Navitech, HHI - all the form fit cases are out of stock. The only one available is the Sikai on Ebay and it looks a bit bulky. Holding out here hoping something changes. In the meantime I just grabbed a neoprene sleeve for 8 bucks from Microcenter.
    It's a Slider... yeah, I know it's cool

I don't know if this would help anyone, but this is the link to the ratings from Amazon on the case I have. It isn't availale right now on Amazon but I'm sure it is available somewhere.

I bought my slider in december 2011, after using a Transformer for a week or two from my work to try it. I made the choise for the slider because i always want to have the keyboard and the USB available. I love the slider, for me it was the right choise. I use it even more then my PC now ;-)
About the case, i bought it including a nice case. The battery live is less then the one from the transformer, ok. But it works fine for me, during the dayfor about 8 or 9 hours. The only accesoire i have is a USB mousse.

I strongly considered getting a slider; I liked the concept. But weighing all the options, I just felt that I had to go with a transformer (prime).

I Guess the one thing I have been looking for is that without a shadow of a doubt, can I use all the same software to root, sbf, and rom the slider using the same software as the Transformer 1 (TF101). I keep felling it is a yes but no one has straight out said it yet. I love my slide, but I am not the type to stay on the same rom for too long. Thank you
