Found a Case - Sikai
I purchased the Sikai case for 29.99 on ebay. The case fits the Slider exactly.
There are solid plastic grips for the bottom of the Slider to snap into that also protect the bottom (keyboard) corners though the top (tablet) corners are a small bit exposed. It is a book-fold case, so the top folds over the tablet and then can be securely closed by an elastic band that slips around the bottom. It does not, however, effectively hold the Slider up either in portrait or landscape, but I don't see the utility of that anyway as in portrait the Slider is either in your hand or flat on a table and in landscape the same or slid out to use the keyboard. Cutouts at the rear of the case expose the microHDMi and charger slots. The sides of the slider, when in the closed case, are exposed. Bottom of the case is, as you'd want, inflexible and there are 5 non-skid pads.
In all, a decent case.
This was the only case I could find that is presently available and is specifically made for the Slider.
The arrived 8 days after payment, from China.

Can you give us a link to see what the case looks like?

Check out HHI case from HandHeldItems. Very good quality, giving access to all ports. Very sturdy using as a stand.

I have been hesitating on this one. It looks bulky. Do you feel like it adds too much weight or bulk?
It's a Slider... yeah, I know it's cool

Nope. Very light and sturdy. Only one concern - the case must be open to plug in the power cord.

I bought this Moko case back in November from Amazon. It's not on their site now but it might be available elsewhere. This is a link from my comment back then. Hope you can see it. I like the case, it's not fancy or perfect, but it works.

Looks just like the HHI case I have.

The Sakai case has an opening for the power cord, which does not require the case to be open to connect it.
