Audio playback is too fast - Windows 10

I recently had to reinstall Windows 10 on my ASUS Transformer T100TA after a blue screen failure. However once it was installed I found that I had no sound, which also stopped video content and websites like YouTube from playing their content.

After several days of searching for drivers and help I finally got sound back using the 'Driver Talent' program, but there's still a problem...

Audio playback is too fast on mp3's, videos, and websites.... and in addition I now only have sound on my left speaker [although I have stereo audio through headphones].
I've run the Windows Audio Troubleshooter which reveals no issues and all the drivers appear up-to-date. Can anyone help???

You should check the audio files you have downloaded

If you did not use ASUS specific drivers that may be your problem. Try using the audio drivers from ASUS for window 8.1 that might solve the issue.
