    Hi Stan,

To try & get you a better response I have edited your thread title for you from your original "Google Play" to the more descriptive title it now has.

I can't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to do this - assuming that you have a Bluetooth enabled sound system in your car, it should just be a matter of pairing the two devices & off you go.

Unless I am missing something, of course...

OK - I am no wizz on BlueTooth, but can you describe what happened? Were you able to pair, or not? Or did you pair, but just not get any sound?

Are you seeing a attempting to pair on either device?

BTW, I just paired my old Anycom headset and had to try twice. First time, neither device saw anything, but second time, went smooth. (2005 headset I found in one of my junk piles)

As far as I know, you should be able to pair. Things to look for are:
    1. Pair code. Some radios just use the bad standard of "0000", but some have it in the manual.
    2. Max units. My radio, a HIGH end 4 or 5 year old, only handles 2 units. Some of the cheap ones allow only 1 paired device at a time, and you have to delete the first to get the new one.
    3. Correct steps to pair. Some car radios want you to press about 40,000 buttons to pair, and 1 wrong step messes it all up.
    4. Older radios. Some will only pair to a few devices. This is more of a chipset/BT stack than a tablet issue. What radio do you have?

BTW, a few on a few car radios, you can update the firmware, you might check to see if yours can, and see if there is an update.

I'll try and remember to try my tablet this weekend, assuming I can find my car radio book.

It also depends on the model car.
My car's Bluetooth connects Only to the Cell Phone functions.
However the Radio does have a jack that accepts a cable that connects to the Headphone jack on any music player you may own.
Just plug it in and select "Aux" on the Radio.
    .
    Hope this helps.
