HDMI out WITHOUT audio

Hi, I recently bought one of these:

All is good with the HDMI out (although I'm not sure it is outputting in full HD, but that is a different issue), however, I can't find a setting anywhere that will keep the audio at the tablet rather than sending it via HDMI. Any help appreciated as I want to take the video signal via HDMI cable, but take the audio out from the tablet's audio socket separately.

Any help much appreciated.

Not sure if you can do that.

You can use headphones but I think that's it.

Hi Mike,

The headphones would be ok, as I can take the output from the 3.5mm jack into separate speakers - I can't get it to output to the headphones either though. Am I missing some setting, or is there an app I can use that will control A/V outputs more specifically?
