I use Zinio Reader on my PC and iPhone. The android version gave me all sorts of free magazines this month and no way to permanently delete them. All I want to see is my library of subscribed magazines and nothing else. Is there a way to do this with this app? I can do it on my other devices.

I've also got the problem that some of my back issues are missing or show with the wrong date.

Have you tried deleting the one off that came with the 3.1 update and reinstalling it from the Market?

Yup, it wont let me delete the one that came with 3.1 and it doesn't even work.

I was using the one from the Market yesterday before the 3.1 update came, and it had the same problems.

Use the file explorer and see if there is a folder for Zinio there. If there is the magazines you don't want may be in there and should be deletable.

I deleted 20 of them leaving 4 and opened Zinio up and sure enough it only had 4 magazine covers for a minute but then I noticed some auto repopulation taking place. I went back to the file manager and I have 24 back again. So sorry but it was a nice try.

Turn WiFi off before you delete them, then don't put Wifi on when using the Zinio app unless you WANT to download a new magazine. No, it won't be a perfect solution. Zinio themselves should have a delete option that lets you permantly delete magazines you don't want on your tablet.

You really are a thinker! Sorry but no way am I gonna keep turning my WiFi on and off just to use their app. it's a solution though, I'll give you that!

i think those free mags are attached to your account-it does the same on the website too as free samples-they are not in your library per se thats why u cant really delete .They are zinio's promotion to try to get u to buy.they dont get added to your acount/library until u actually download.
