Asus Transformer and IPSec VPN setup
I have been hammering away at trying to get the IPSec PSK or CERT versions of the VPN configuration working with either my Untangle or Endian IPSec VPN tunnels with zero succes so far. Thus I figured I'd start a thread on it. Anyone successfully get IPSec and their tablets working so far? The prospects of SSLVPN and OpenVPN without rooting don't look to good to me since it's not "built in" the system.

To use any Android device with VPN clients, you'll need to initiate the tun.ko kernel module. Most factory installs of Android lack this module, though that's starting to change. Samsung is supporting Cisco AnyConnect VPN in future releases of its Android products.
The tun.ko you use has to be compiled for the specific kernel version on your device and the device needs to be rooted. Try this how to guide on XDA for the Asus Transformer OpenVPN Working for the ASUS Transformer! | xda-developers. I haven't followed the instructions on my tf yet. Waiting for a one-click root before rooting my device and following the instructions.
I'm able to use my Galaxy S smartphone to establish a stable IPSec VPN connection. I'm running the VPN Connections app (get-a-robot-vpnc - VPN Connections for android - Google Project Hosting) on a Gingerbread ROM.
