Browser Issues - Anyone else seeing this!?

I'm really disapointed with the stock android browser. I'm running with latest 3.1 updates but the browser has caused me nothing but grief.

For example:

1. Pages intermittently don't load
2. Pages show as loaded (progress bar finishes) but only some content shows. Sometimes, waiting up to 30 seconds, the content suddenly appears
3. Browser quites unexpectedly, when re-launching it has forgotten any tabs or page that was currently being viewed when it crashed
4. Text input from keyboard dock is ridiculously slow (intermittent fault). It works perfectly in all other apps which is why I'm using tapatalk as the browser slows down too much if I were to write this post from the browser.

(Make sure you click the star icon next to the issue once signed in with your google account. More stars = higher priority for developers to fix).

These problems appear to be happen to all Honeycomb tablets so I don't think its an Asus problem. I've tried other browsers but they are annoying and often don't format pages correctly or dont have functions that stock browser has. If the stock browser wasn't so buggy, it would be an awesome browser. I hope these issues will be remedied soon as I'm having to boot up my old desktop in order to enjoy normal internet browsing, since I sold my laptop for this tablet! Maybe I jumped ship too early!!

As mentioned, I have tried other browsers, in fact I think I have tried them all but they all have thier own quirks which actually makes me want to use the stock browser! I just want a browser that is stable in desktop type mode! I hate it when pages load up in mobile format. I understand that you might want mobile mode as desktop mode will generally use more data via 3G, but the transformer is currently WiFi only and has an awesome high resolution screen which is perfectly capable of displaying full websites

i kinda wish I had kept my ipad 2 just for web browsing at least until this issue is corrected on the Transformer. I know ipad has no flash but for me I could care less. Heck, I'm on Dolphin and I've got it turned off in settings just trying to get a decent web experience. Can it really be this difficult! Really!

Yes..... yes you can.... as you can see from my last post, I reference the desktop and mobile mode of the browser. I don't want to bitch but could you please stop responding to posts across the forum unless you actually have something useful to say. People don't post on forums to be told the obvious, are you trying to increase your post count or something, you've replied something useless to every post I've written today!

I have the same super slow typing input when using the stock browser. (with the dock/keyboard) .

I tried Dolphin HD It failed on many pages. I could find no pattern although the typed characters appeared quickly. I found no explanation of the meaning of "HD".

So I will try the others. Stock browser is PAINFUL.

I switched to Opera today because I have trouble closing tabs in the stock browser. My screen seems to be not very responsive at the very top. Can never seem to hit the "x" just right. Anyways I like opera its pretty cool. But I just realized there is no flash. wtf

I assumed this was due to the massive crap flash adverts on some sites, guess this is another reason to use Firefox + adblock plus.

3. Browser quits unexpectedly, when re-launching it has forgotten any tabs or page that was currently being viewed when it crashed

Had this a couple of times, only when i have been using several tabs and switching between them fairly quickly.

Nice link to the Andriod forum on code.google.com. i noticed that someone had a link to a site that mentions turning off openGL rendering on browser. Type in 'about:debug' in adress bar, go to settings, debug, and uncheck openGL rendering. Typing in browser is much improved.
