Trio Firmware/kernel Updates via website or auto update

had my Trio for 2 weeks as of today, and am l loving it so far.

I was curious about the firmware and Kernel updates. On the ASUS site, the updates are a lot larger than what auto update sizes are. Is there a reason for this, and should I not bother trying to update the tablet via the website updates after updating via the tablet update checker?

Over The Air (OTA) updates are incremental whereas the updates on the Asus Support Site are full installs. That is the reason for the size difference.

Either method of updating is fine and checking for OTAs after updating from the site is also a good idea just to be sure you have the latest.
