Lightbulb TF101 stuck on asus loading screen after factory reset

edit: issue was fixed by booting in safe mode

    Hi!

Repost from my introduction post because this might be a better place for the question....

I bought a secondhand TF101 and was told to do a factory reset to be sure to start with a clean slate.
... I'm not really good with OSs, and the dude seemed to know what he was talking about...

Well, I did the factory reset....
Now the tablet has been stuck on the ASUS loading screen for the past 90 minutes...

This is the last time I listen to anyone without reading about it first

I don't have any data on the device. I've been reading a bit in the past hour and I think it might have been 'rooted', whatever that is

Is there anyone here who can help?

    Thanks!
    ~Mo
