    Android OS update then restore?

I was curious, if you update your Android OS because a new one is available for your Asus Android tablet, and then do a System restore, does it go back to the original OS version or the newer updated one?

    Long time no see

This is well covered on the forum, but to repeat, a Factory Reset will restore the newest firmware you have on your device. It does not restore the firmware the device originally shipped with.

PLEASE Search for existing threads before posting a new one. Thanks.

Your opinion matters. But should you disagree - please try not to be disagreeable

Thanks!!! That's what I was hoping was the case.

My attention has been on other things lately, so haven't been around in awhile. In addition to my addiction to Asus tablets I'm an offroad enthusiast and have been learning a lot about suspensions, transmissions and axles gears where I just finished, all by myself installing a 3in lift (springs, shocks, track bars, control arms, tie rods, drag link), steel bumpers, and winch assembly on my Jeep Wrangler. I can honestly say, I prefer working on electronics. Less busted knuckles, grease and grime.
